"Probably, people consider my illustrations as fashion illustrations. I draw pictures simply because I can create my world on paper (or screen) and I love this. This is totally my taste but I am very fond of faces and bodies creating a listless atmosphere. Artists and designers who have touched my heart include Egon Schiele (shapes that make me feel the skeleton, pathetic lines and the expressions of faces attract me), Gustav Klimt (a combination of beautiful textile and human shape is great), Hundert wasser(streets like a pattern are creative) . My technique is to add colors to the same site by using a mouse like oil paintings and erase what I want to erase. I also add a heartrending expression to bodies and faces. As for the difference between drawing fashion illustrations and taking photos, when I draw a fashion illustration, I can select a shape from objects carefully and place what I want to express on the campus. I love the listless feeling and mental conflict of a wavering woman and am trying to express these by faces and bodies through fashion illustrations. A sensation of transparency, a momentary feeling and imbalance are existent in these. Women who are my objects are wavering between the heart of a little girl and the heart of a grown-up and I am happy if people who see my pictures can feel it. When I draw illustrations, I first draw a sketch from a shot taken by a photographer on a magazine or the portfolio of an actress. I draw sketches by using a mouse and "Photo Shop" and "Illustrator" as software digitally in most cases. Sometimes, I scan patterns and lines in water-colors and actual textiles and store them into photo shops in order to paste them like mixed media and collages. In short, I love to express what comes up from the inside of me by drawing pictures. When I combine the human body with a sensation of transparency and a momentary feeling, I think it will probably look beautiful like flowers. I love faces and bodies which look listless. My fashion and lifestyle illustrations are one of means of expressing these. No matter which category it is, do try to stock what you feel beautiful at each moment as quickly as possible. Also, attach importance to an image which first comes to your mind."
